The North Devon coast has some of the best places to fish in the country. With a low density of population we find that the area is only lightly fished compared to other regions

Darracott Reservoir 
Located in Torrington, Devon. The Reservoir is controlled by The South West lake trust and offers three acres of water. Populated with bream up to 6lb. 
Stafford Moor Fisheries

Clawford Vineyard and Fisheries

Furzebray Carp lakes 
Located in South Molton, North Devon. Furzebray Carp lakes offers top quality day ticket specimen carp fishing. Set in the heart of the tranquil Devon countryside surrounded by woodlands and green fields, it offers the day ticket carp angler one of the best carp fishing and holiday venues in the south west of England. There are two available lakes to fish but these must be booked before arrival. These matured looking lakes and gardens are home to some of England's finest strains of carp, which include Horseshoe, orchid lake cross, and English Leaney cross, that have all been hand picked. The lake record is a mirror carp on island lake which has gone above the magic 40lb barrier. 
Creedy lakes 
Located in Crediton Devon set in peaceful, picturesque surroundings, These two 18th century spring-fed waters are set in peaceful surroundings and are populated with mirror and koi carp together with green and golden tench. 
Milemead Fisheries 
Located In Tavistock Devon Offering three fishing lakes, each with about 2 acres situated about a mile outside of Tavistock. Offering course , specimen fishing or trout fishing. 
Newbarn Farm Angling Centre 
Newbarn Farm Angling Centre in Paignton Devon offers coarse fishing on six ponds and lakes. In a beautiful sheltered valley close to Paignton, you will find Quality Coarse fishing suitable for the pleasure or specimen angler. 
Newcourt Barton  
Located in Langford, Cullompton, Devon. Offering an acre and a half of water in a gently sloping valley, the lakes are stocked with Common and Mirror Carp, Green and Silver Tench, Bream, Golden Orfe and Golden Rudd all in lakes with a varying depth of up to 6 feet.

South View Fishery 
South View Coarse Fishery consists of three stream fed coarse fishing lakes known as Willow Pool, Kingfisher Pond and Heron pond. Set in six acres, all the waters have regularly produced good catches since they were opened to day ticket anglers over 15 years ago. 
Beer Boats 
Heading out in a small boat and dangling a line for mackerel is a quintessentially English seaside activity – like snoozing on deck chairs and tying hankies on heads. Boats can be hired all round the coast, but nowhere can mackerel hunting be enjoyed quite as effortlessly as from the lovely old fishing village of Beer in East Devon. Located in a gorgeous cove on the Jurassic Coast, you can wander down the steep slipway, chat to guy called Simon, and, for £20, simply hire a small motor boat kitted out with rods and hand reels for an hour or so. Simon will give you a few tips and off you go – trawl with the handlines out, cast a line, or simply bob around in Lyme Bay, soaking up the sun and the unique scenery. Keep your catch and cook it up at home.
